LET’S EAT WELL 85 Fresh pasta, pizza dough, some types of bread, dry pasta, crackers and biscuits: over one hundred Esselunga branded products are made with 100% Italian wheat , grown by local farms and ground by local mills. A tangible example of this is our Esselunga pasta 100% Italian supply chain, bronze-drawn, made with 100% Italian wheat, traceable from the crop land in Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche, Molise and Apulia, where it is harvested and taken to the Ferro Mill, then carefully sorted and milled. That is how semolina of the highest quality is produced, which is turned into dough and bronze-drawn at the La Molisana Pasta Factory. Additionally, our offer considers everyone: with the CheJoy line, designed for children , we try to encourage a concept of a diet that is both tasty and healthy, in which a wide variety of nutrients is combined with appealing recipes for everyone. With this line, Esselunga confirms its commitment to a healthy and balanced diet, as well as awareness about good eating habits, starting with children. As for children, our commitment moves towards everyone’s preferences : we provide wholemeal and fibre-rich products, as well as gluten-free products, for which we have entered into a healthy and close collaboration with AIC.
